Changes to the DELTA

The DELTA, or Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults, the next step for teachers who have the CELTA and a few years experience behind them, is changing in October 2008. The main change is the organization of the course into three modules, allowing more flexibility and choice.

• Module One focuses on the background to teaching and learning.

• Module Two focuses on developing professional practice.

• Module Three focuses on a specialist option (e.g. Young Learners, English for Special Purposes, 1-1).
